Latest Updates from Our Project:

We launched 🚀 And we’re funded 🥳 And we’ve reached our first stretch goal 🤯
9 months ago – Wed, Aug 06, 2025 at 03:19:54 AM

Folks,

I’m thrilled to announce that not only did we launch yesterday, but we were funded in just 40 minutes. And when I woke up this morning, I saw we’ve already reached our first stretch goal.

I truly have no words to express how grateful I am for your support, excitement, and encouragement. Thank you so much. I couldn’t have done this without you. I guess I can breathe now… and maybe even relax. Just a little.

If you haven’t backed yet, remember:

👉 You only have one day left to claim the free postcard, which comes with an exclusive random table you won’t find anywhere else.

🥳 Launch Party Highlights

Yesterday’s livestream was an absolute blast! We played around with the tool, created some wild prompts together, and even had a full two minutes of the weirdest infinite echo bug on my mic. Honestly, it was kind of perfect for a toolkit about generating weirdness.

If you missed it, you can still catch the VOD here: Watch the Launch Stream

Some of the strange wonders we cooked up included:

  • A zen garden oasis filled with living gemstones and an enchanted princess
  • A cactus grown from an elk carcass that communicates through dancing thorns

We’re just getting started.

✅ First Stretch Goal Reached: Interactive PDF

That’s right—we’ve already unlocked our first stretch goal: the Interactive PDF!

This will be a single-page PDF where you can roll on all the tables with a single click with just a bit of JavaScript magic.

💡 Note: This kind of PDF works best in a proper PDF reader (not in your browser), but it’ll work offline and be super smooth to use.

Here’s a first sketch of what I mean by that:

I’d love to hear from you: what kind of functionality would you like to see in the single-page PDF?
Keep in mind it’s still a PDF, so there are limits, but we can have some fun. Let me know in the comments!

More updates soon, including some new art pieces I’m wrapping up and maybe a surprise or two.

Ready to get wonderfully weird?

BACK WEIRD, WHIMSY & WONDER NOW

Talk soon, and thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

Grab the free online demo! + LIVE STREAM upcoming! Let's create some weird stuff together!
9 months ago – Mon, Aug 04, 2025 at 02:55:48 AM

Hello folks!

We are some 30 hours away from the campaign launch and I bring you some exciting news!

1. Grab the free demo

I put together an online version of the tool that you can try out for free today here. It does have all the steps you need, but not all the explanations and examples, so some parts might feel a bit esoteric, but I am sure you can give it a spin.

2. Let's create some weird stuff together LIVE!

I set up a live stream to start one hour before the campaign goes live (that is, August 5th, 6:05PM GMT+1).

I'll be using that online version of the toolkit to create weird stuff on the spot, with your input! I'd love if you'd hop in!

It seems that you can watch and participate on the stream straight from the project page, but if you can't find it there, you can head over to my YouTube channel and follow along.

If you're not following the project yet, this is the best time to do so! Help me bring this project to life, share it with your friends, support an indie author!

And as a reminder, if you back any physical tier in the first 48 hours, you get a free postcard with an exclusive random table.

Oh, and you can get a bunch of my other games in physical format as add-ons as well! Check this out:

Super cool, huh?

Want to be a part of it?

SIGN ME UP!

Thank you so much, and see you there!

🌀 Welcome to Weird, Whimsy & Wonder!
9 months ago – Fri, Aug 01, 2025 at 09:21:41 AM

Hey folks!

Just wanted to say how thrilled I am to have you here. It means a lot that you’re backing this project, and I think we’re going to have a lot of fun exploring the strange and wonderful together.

Since the free demo went live, I’ve already seen some amazing reports of bizarre, delightful creations coming out of it. (And if you haven’t tried it yet—yes, there’s a free demo you can mess around with right now!)

That got me thinking—I’d love to know more about how you plan to use Weird, Whimsy & Wonder (side note: I love em-dashes—as you may have noticed—and won't let AI rob me of the joy of using them. So rest assured, this is my writing). Are you a GM looking to spice up your prep? Someone who likes to improvise weird scenes at the table? Maybe a solo player in need of unexpected sparks to fuel your oracles?

I created this post (and the attached poll) to get to know you all better—so hop into the comments and let me know how you intend to use the book. And while you’re at it, I’d love to hear which systems, settings, or other tools you’re planning to combine WWW with. What are you mixing it into?

Looking forward to reading your answers—and thank you again for helping bring this little weird thing to life.

New Demo Video Out!
9 months ago – Thu, Jul 17, 2025 at 02:36:44 AM

Hello folks!

Yesterday I released a video on my YouTube channel explaining the project a bit more and giving a full example on how to use it.

It was really fun to record that. I even made a slideshow to follow along (how fancy!)

I think it can be a great introduction to the concept of Weird, Whimsy & Wonder, so feel free to share it with people you think might be interested ^^

Let's make this book a reality together!
